A Compliment
I received a compliment from my deceased husband.

I stopped at a convenience store and was on my way back to my car, when a young girl in the driver seat of a minivan, with new driver/be patient stickers on it, rolled down her window.
She said "excuse me, I just wanted to say you look sooo beautiful... the way your hair blew back in the wind while you were walking".
I thanked her and smiled and got in my car. I sat there for a minute and thought, how many teenage girls who just got their license, sitting in the driver seat waiting for someone, look up from their cell phone to roll down a window, to complement an old lady they don't know and will never see again.
I believe my deceased husband may have paid me a complement through another person. The words the young lady used and how she said them, are just the way my husband would speak. In fact he has given me similar complements in the past, and I really felt this was him.
